DirectDVD is the first company to offer DVD to MP3 technology directly in the program. DVD to MP3 has become quite popular over the years and our development took this into full account! Digital DVD Audio Recording (HD Recorder) was designed to allow users to quickly assign content and record directly to MP3 file! DirectDVD now allows users to export the recorded audio to WAV/RAW format to retain the digital format.
DVD Audio can now be heard while recording the material! Our Development team designed a new recording filter graph to allow all processed audio to be recorded also. You can add VST/DMO audio effects to your DVD to gain greater sound quality/ tailored to your taste. The program features new enhancements in both the visual aesthetics and recording mechanisms. MP3 file Bitrates can be changed to fit the compression level you will need in the recording of the DVD Audio. DVD to MP3 does not export AC3, DirectDVD records the content directly from the channels assigned. So, the final output will be what is heard directly in DVD to MP3 (HD Recorder) . Formats may be added later in revised versions as we do plan to support direct digital output- (RAW) in future upgrades.
Visual Output is organized to let the user Visually see the actual recording and writing procedures. Once a file is in Recording mode- DirectDVD will display the Spectrum channels. When finished- the Digital Recording will cease and the file will be exported- all of the major features of HD Recording takes place directly in the interface in DirectDVD- there is no outside panel or control effects. With the recording parameters housed in a central location- this opens the viewing area to view your content.
Output Meters visually show the last stage of the Audio Chain- if you have effects that are attached to the recording the processing will appear in the spectrum.
Content can be Exported by MP3/WAV file- (RAW) format is processed as a *.wav file- Standard Media players can play this content back- You can also upload the content/MP3 files to your external media players-
Recording Sample Rates can be set for each recording- this is the sample rate that is in the chain (outside of MP3 format) - this feature will most likely always be set at 48000 -(DVD Default) but in some cases it is open for changes to lower rates-
DirectDVD will halt content (both before/after) recording to insure that the files write correclty. If you stop the DVD player- the recorded content will be auto exported. MP3 Files can have many properties adjusted to improve your recordings. You may want to have your recording exported at lower/higher MP3 Bitrate- (allowing for smaller/larger) file sizes. Once the material has been written- you can continue watching the current DVD. If you decide to re-record the existing movie/movies - DirectDVD will write over the MP3 file- (this allows for instant cue) .
Recorded files will play on any MPEG3 recording/playback device- DirectDVD does not use any special filters/measures in recording - the content is strictly digital output-
Orion Studios is continuing to improve the DVD to MP3 (HD Recorder) format. We are working with new ideas being developed daily. The format will expand in the coming editions of DirectDVD. We will be including 6.1 Recording formats on output files- to expand on the already digital VST/DMO processing. This advance recorder will provide new audio content directly from your DVD's to your library-
