Simple Recording Overview

SurroundCast allows you to record Broadcast from compatible down streams- Using standard *.mp3 naming methods- users can simply press

press record and forget-

 

 

In this overview we will follow the steps to completing a Radio Recording-

  1. Launch/Play Station

  2. Press Record

  3. Locate Folder

  4. SurroundCast Records Station

 

 

 

Step (1) - Launch/Play Station

 

Start any Station in the Group Radio Guides-

 

NOTE:: Station must support Meta Tags to allow Auto Recording-

 

 

Step (2) - Press record

 

We have now started playback of our Radio Station- we can now simply press the record button on the main bar to allow recording-

 

 

Step (3) - Locate Folder-

 

You will be prompted for the Drop location of your recording- select a folder and hit (OK)

This folder will be where the (*.mp3) files will be stored-

SurroundCast will auto Generate and Name the Files-

 

NOTE:: Use the (NO META FILENAME) feature to set names (titles) that do not have Meta Content-

 

 

Step (4) - SurroundCast Records Station in MP3 File formats-

 

The recording light will show (red) and be featured as recording-

To stop the recording process- De-Select the Recording Button-
